Uses
Non-separation and preservation of pasty properties in concrete, as well as fluid movement of concrete within the mold and between high-density rebars, require the use of Super Plast MF2900. Although this material works well for most concretes with normal slumps, it is also well suited for making strong concretes with 200mm slumps. Maintaining integrity between aggregates and cement particles is one of the main advantages of Super Plast MF2900. This type of superplasticizer is also recommended for ready mixed concrete.
Description
Super Plast MF 2900 is based on melamine formaldehyde, produced in Fars Resin Manufacturers based on an American patent. This product has a standard mark from the Institute for Standards and Industrial Research, as well as a technical certificate from the Building and Housing Research Center based on the European standard EN-934-2. This valuable material causes relatively complete diffusion of cement in concrete, which in addition to creating proper fluidity and optimal performance, as well as useful and efficient use of cement, can make concrete impermeable to some extent. Super Plast MF 2900 can reduce water up to about 25% with efficiency and constant slump.
Super Plast MF 2900 is also available in powder form, which must be converted to liquid before use. This superplasticizer accelerates the setting time of the cement and is well suited for temperate and cold regions and for prefabricated construction where rapid molding is required.
Advantages
- Due to the dispersion and uniform distribution of cement, it is possible to produce homogeneous concrete.
- Obtaining impermeable, compact and extremely durable concrete
- Since it is colorless, it is suitable for colored concrete and white cement.
- Prevention of surface cracks in small thicknesses
- Very good compatibility with Microsilica and FLYASH
- No separation of grains in high slumps
- Compatibility with all types of portland and antisulphate cements
- Accelerating the effect of cement hydration and gaining strength at early ages of concrete
- Suitable for temperate and cold regions
- Suitable for prefabricated parts due to fast hardening
Recommended Dosage
The exact amount of consumption is determined by the requirements of the design and materials involved in the manufactory, but at the same time between 0.5% and 2% of the cement weight is recommended. In concretes containing Microsilica, the consumption amount can be increased up to 2.5% if needed.
Application
If you are using Super Plast MF2900 in powder form, you must first dissolve it with a mixer at a ratio of 30 powder to 70% water to obtain a completely homogeneous mixture, then under laboratory conditions: Dissolve Super Plast MF2900 in the specified amount in all the mixing plan water and pour it into the concrete made and let the mixing process continue for 2 to 3 minutes.
In construction conditions: Add the specified amount of Super Plast MF2900 at the same time as the water entering the concrete and if the concrete enters ready for construction, add Super Plast MF2900 from the end valve of the mixer and let the mixer rotate 90-100 times at high rotational state.
Since Super Plast MF2900 performs all its chemical activity in the presence of water, avoid pouring this substance on dry materials.
